Every railway photographer has their favourite haunts, places they return to time and time again to get the shots of passing trains.
But what do you do when you want to go somewhere new.........
this is where we can help.
Trainspots is a growing archive of railway photographic locations from up and down the United Kingdom.
With information on how to get there, what the area is like, and perhaps even where the nearest chip shop is!
Trainspots covers both current running lines and preserved railways and any location is of interest.
To you it might just be the usual dull spot down the road, but to someone who lives 200miles away it is a brand new
location with lots of new interesting things to see!!!!!
Also do not be put off by the fact that the location is a sparsely used
freight line or somewhere only multiple units go. Everyone has different interests and likes, plus you never know when something
special might turn up on that bit of line.
